The Original St, Nicholas - Radford Church. Destroyed during the WWII bombing raids of Coventry
The Current Church building awaiting demolition and site redevelopment.
The original St.Nicholas Church on this site was bombed on the same night as the Cathedral.  A new church was built in the 1950s which sadly became untenable and unsafe about 10 years ago.  The worshipping community took the difficult decision at this point to move into, what was then, the Church Hall and to convert and adapt this building into a liturgically viable church in its own right, while still providing space for community and church activities.  The 1950s building is now awaiting demolition at which point part of the site will be redeveloped.
